Burj Dubai – The World Highest Building

Burj Dubai (Dubai Tower in English), credited as the World Highest Building, is a superb high skyscraper in Dubai with a total expected expenditure of a lucrative US$4.1 billion. The construction started five year back in 2004 and is assumed that it will be ready for starting activities by december, this year 2009. The same construction was ready in September 2009. Burj Dubai has reached a height of 2, 684 ft (818 m), thus becoming the tallest ever man made structure in the world.

“The World” Project in Dubai

The project “The World” is the second largest artificial island project in the world, bigger than The Palm Jumeirah and the other so-called Palm projects in Dubai. It is only in its size of Dubai Waterfront, another under construction, artificial islands exceeded. The cost of this project reaches a total of 7.6 billion U.S. $, while the small islands both 11 - 40 million U.S. $ cost. Total costs are expected after the infrastructure and the construction of all the islands at least 14 billion U.S. $. The project consists 270 islands. Palm Islands are three artificial islands (The Palm, Jebel Ali, The Palm, Jumeirah and The Palm, Deira), which is currently are building in Dubai (United Arab Emirates ).
